Our client, the leader in home care in Canada is seeking a business development expert for the area of east end of Montreal.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Business Development, contacts, presents, and develops referral relationships to ensure a continuous flow of referrals. Works with scheduler to monitor referrals and client assessments and intake to ensure that growth goals are met. Responsible for reporting results to supervisor on a weekly basis, discuss successes and opportunities, and revisit Marketing/Networking/Business Plan for the east end territory.
Responsible for finding and developing relationships with Referral Sources. Assists in making prospect calls to potential new referral sources; Implements contracts and agreements to ensure that sales goals are met. Organizes the territory in geographical zones. Develop clinic business for small medical procedures in pharmacy. Conducts at least 35 visits per week – mix of medical and non-medical / new and follow up calls. Establishes a networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested. Develops a visitation schedule to existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships. Develops and maintains prospects, clients, and referral sources database for contact/and or mailing lists. Responsible for entering contact information into computer. Tracks networking efforts and reviews with owners weekly. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requires proficiency in contact management software (Office, Excel, Power Point, ACT,). Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as positive professional, business image. Must be fluent in Italian, in English and French. Education level: Secondary. Years of experience related to the job offer: 1 to 6 months experience. Number of hours per week: 40. Job status: Permanent, full time.
