Canadian Corporate Tax Manager

Our client a large public company, based in Montreal, is looking for a Canadian Taxation Manager to join their team.  The Tax manager will be responsible for all Canadian compliance aspects, from tax provisions, tax return preparation, to interaction with taxation authorities and other departments.  The Tax manager will also identify, develop and implement tax planning strategies and work on special projects.  Our client is a reputable established public company with a great working environment and very competitive compensation and benefit plans.

Requirements

Accounting firm or industry experience in Canadian Corporate taxation, CICA In-depth tax course (completed or in progress), or Master of Tax degree, with a preference for an accounting designation, as well as strong ability to understand taxation concepts and work well with other departments.  Other considerations:

  • 6+ years of experience with Canadian corporate taxation
  • Accounting designation is a plus
  • Bilingual (English and French) written, and oral
  • Must be a team player
  • Able to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented
