Partner - Dejan Ristic, CA, CPA

Dejan has corporate financial expertise with the “new economy”, public and venture capital funded companies.  Since 2004, Dejan has been working as an expert consultant with a number of technology companies both publicly-traded and start-ups.  Between 2003 and 2004, Dejan was the CFO at Radical Horizon, a telecom start-up and prior to that, he was Director of Finance at Nexia Biotechnologies and as such, he assisted in Nexia’s IPO in 2000.  From 1995 to 2000, Dejan was a manager in the high-technology practice of Ernst & Young LLP.  He participated in public offerings generating over $150M, primarily for biotechnology and new economy companies.  Dejan is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant in the US.  He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Entrepreneurship from McGill University and a Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University.

Partner – Lina Colalillo, CA, CPA

Lina has spearheaded the reporting and accounting aspects of many Canadian and US public offerings and IPO’s.  Lina’s experience includes Controller, Director of Financial Reporting and Investor Relations for large multi-national public corporations.  She has worked on public offerings which raised over half a billion dollars, participated in several merger and acquisitions including post integration.  Lina also has had extensive dealings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission on complex accounting issues.  Lina obtained her Chartered Accountancy designation and CPA certification in US at Concordia University.  Subsequently, she was a professor at Concordia University CA program, teaching advanced topics in accounting.
