Canadian Tax Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Canadian Taxation Manager.  In this role, you will be responsible for all Canadian compliance aspects, including tax provisions, tax return preparation, interaction with taxation authorities and other departments.  As a corporate tax manager will also identify, develop and implement tax planning strategies and work on special projects.  Our clients are reputable, established public and private companies who offer a great working environment as well as a very competitive compensation and benefit plans.

Accounting firm or industry experience in Canadian Corporate taxation, CICA In-depth tax course (completed or ongoing), or Master’s degree in taxation, with a preference for an accounting designation, as well as strong ability to understand taxation concepts and work well with other departments.  Other considerations:

                6+ years of experience with Canadian corporate taxation

                Accounting designation is a plus

                Managerial skills

                Bilingual (English and French) written, and oral

                Must be a team player

                Able to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment

                Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented
